After School Care for Two Children

Hello, my name is Paulette and I am a single mom working full-time who needs an after school care provider for about three hours Monday through Friday. The provider would need to have their own transportation and could either pick up from school or be at my home while the school buses drop the kids off. I have a 9-year-old daughter who attends a Cy-Fair Elementary School with a school dismissal of 3:45 p.m. and an 11-year-old son who attends a Cy-Fair Middle School with a school dismissal of 3:10 p.m. My son was also diagnosed with autism and a speech impairment when he was 3. He is fully ambulatory and the only noticeable difference about him is when you talk to him. His sentence length is limited to two to three words. Both of my children are very friendly, love people, well mannered, no behavioral problems and very energetic. My daughter is very talkative, active and inquisitive, and they both love to make new friends. The hours needed would be 3 p.m.- 6 p.m., Monday through Friday and would need to start immediately. the ideal person would need to have at least five years experience. Experience with special needs children preferred, love working with kids, able to have fun. Not looking for someone to just sit with the children. Also have a current background check, verifiable references and the ability to teach another language is a plus. I would really like someone that my children can grow with for the few hours they'll be together and someone that will care for them like their own and will fit with our little family. They are the most precious things to me on this earth and we need someone we can really trust.
